Clinical Hypnotherapy

"Hypnosis is a natural altered state of conscious awareness that can facilitate therapeutic changes in perception, mood, or behaviour. Clinical hypnosis enables clients to amplify their strengths and resources, enabling them to overcome difficulties, handle challenges, and be the best that they can be in their daily lives (ASH SA and WA, 2020)."

Having completed the Postgraduate Training in Clinical Hypnosis course for healthcare professionals, I am certified with the Australian Society of Hypnosis, WA Branch.

I will gently guide your subconscious mind to create new thoughts, feelings, and behaviours in any area of your life in which you'd like to make a change such as:
.
  • Anxiety, stress

  • Depression, low mood

  • Addictions (e.g. smoking, alcohol, drugs, gambling, etc.)

  • Trauma (including PTSD)

  • Sleep Problems

  • Motivation

  • Grief & Loss

  • Chronic Pain

  • Menopause symptoms: e.g. hot flushes, mood, anxiety, sleep disruptions, relationship issues during menopause, bodily changes such as weight gain, and cravings.

  •

Psychiatric Disorders: If you have been diagnosed with a psychiatric disorder such as Psychosis/Schizoprenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Dissociative Identity Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Bipolar Disorder you would need to contact a clinical psychologist. My clinic does not have the capacity to work with these disorders.

I do not see clients involved in the following: Criminal Justice System or Department of Child Protection.

NB: Please be very cautious of people who are not clinicians (registered psychologists or clinical counsellors) saying they do "clinical" hypnosis or hypnotherapy. The danger is that some say they can help with serious mental health conditions such as depression, ,PTSD/trauma, but they are NOT trained to do this. They do not have clinical training nor clinical supervision in psychology. You are putting yourself in potential harm, so please don't go to a hypnotherapist who is not a trained psychologist, counsellor, or mental health social worker posing as a "clinical" hypnotherapist.
